Meet Yohana Asfaha, Operations Manager, bringing a unique blend of cultural insight, professional expertise, and a deep passion for helping others to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from Mary Baldwin University and a Master’s of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Yohana joined Paragon in 2015 as a Behavior Specialist and quickly demonstrated her ability to lead and innovate. In 2017, she was promoted to Training and Service Coordinator, excelling in mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality service delivery. She later transitioned to Office Manager for Prince William County, where she streamlined processes and supported the team’s daily operations before advancing to her current role as Operations Manager. Fluent in Tigrinya and proficient in Amharic, Yohana’s linguistic abilities enhance her ability to connect with diverse communities Yohana’s multilingual abilities help her connect with and support diverse communities.
As Operations Manager, Yohana is known for her dedication to creating efficient systems and ensuring that staff have the tools and resources they need to thrive. She is passionate about identifying challenges, improving workflows, and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Her favorite part of the role is finding innovative ways to make her colleagues’ work more effective and fulfilling.
Outside of work, Yohana cherishes time with her family. As a proud mother of two young children, her family inspires her commitment to compassion and excellence in all aspects of her life.
