Rachel Kinlaw is an Early Intervention Specialist at Paragon, bringing a diverse background in education and behavior analysis to her role. A lifelong resident of Manassas, VA, Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education with a concentration in Math and an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Graduate Certificate from George Mason University. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from Virginia Tech.
Rachel’s journey into ABA was driven by a desire to better understand and support individuals with unique behavioral needs. She began her career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), gaining hands-on experience in implementing behavioral strategies. Over time, she advanced to supervising therapists, training RBTs, and developing individualized treatment plans, becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2020.
Rachel is passionate about supporting children who may not thrive under traditional methods and ensuring they receive personalized interventions to reach their full potential. She also enjoys mentoring new professionals in the field, helping them discover the science and impact of ABA.
Outside of her professional work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring local wineries, and taking day trips. Her personal experiences provide her with unique insight and empathy, enhancing her ability to connect with families and provide meaningful support.
Rachel’s goal at Paragon is to make a lasting difference by empowering children, families, and fellow professionals to achieve success through evidence-based practices.
