Kaitlyn Dorsch is a dedicated utpatient counseling resident committed to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
Kaitlyn’s professional experience spans behavioral therapy, advocacy, and counseling. She spent four years as a Behavior Technician with Paragon Autism Services, providing individualized support to children and adolescents with autism and other special needs. Motivated by a desire to expand her impact, she transitioned into counseling to offer broader mental health support to the community. Additionally, she has served as an advocate within the court system, ensuring individuals receive essential resources and representation. Her experience also includes leading educational support groups for individuals struggling with substance use and addiction, creating a safe and understanding environment for recovery. Outside of her experience and expertise, Kaitlyn enjoys spending her time with friends and traveling to her home state of Indiana to see family. She finds joy in scrapbooking, going to Renaissance festivals, going on picnics, and spending time with her two cats.
Inspired by her mother, Kaitlyn developed a deep passion for helping others and serving as a safe, supportive presence for those in need. She prioritizes meeting clients where they are, fostering a sense of safety and trust, and equipping them with the tools to navigate life’s complexities in a healthy and constructive manner. With a strong foundation in mental health, advocacy, and behavioral support, she is dedicated to creating an environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered on their journey to well-being.
