Meet Diana Achim, a dedicated Director of Intensive ABA Services at Paragon. With a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Shenandoah University and over a decade of experience in the field, Diana brings her passion for behavioral science to every aspect of her work.
Diana’s journey in ABA began after completing her double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Originally aspiring to work in criminal behavioral analysis, she shifted her focus to behavioral health after gaining hands-on experience working with children with special needs and behavioral challenges. Her exposure to applied behavior analysis sparked a passion for the field. Starting as a Behavior Technician in 2012, she quickly developed her skills, ultimately earning her BCBA and continuing to advance in her career.
Over the years, Diana has developed her expertise in clinical practice and is deeply committed to helping children succeed while positively impacting families. She is known for her patient, well-rounded approach and her passion for helping kids become more independent. Diana finds immense fulfillment in receiving thank-you calls from families who have benefited from her work.
Outside of her professional life, Diana is passionate about animals, music, photography, and traveling. She lives in Centreville with her two dogs and a cat she rescued from her old apartment complex. One day, she hopes to combine her love for ABA with animal training.
Diana’s personal mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. “If I can make one difference in a family’s life, I have done my job,” she says. With her experience, dedication, and compassion, Diana is a vital asset to the Paragon team.
